I was just reading about the 2008 dream concert (i know its super long ago) and i realised, Woah. fans are fierce.

***i dont mean anything here, i'm just voicing my view. Soshi,ELF, cassie or even triple, dont come after me.

What happen was, apparently, ELF(SuJu fans), cassie(DBSK fans) and triples(SS501 fans) boycotted SNSD's performance during the dream concert by turning off their lightsticks and remainging silence. the reason for this apparent silence treatment was because SOSHI fans have been very violent towards other FCs. it is said that SOSHI male fans raped, beat, kick etc other fan club fans esp girl members.
WTH. i mean, you can be the most loyal but there's no need to be violent?

A SuJu fan girl even broke her leg and has to be casted!

Although i'm a triples, i still admire SNSD for their courage, being able t cope everything in the entertainment circles esp seohyun who is still so young. but after this issue, i think, their image has dropped. the report claims that SNSD has been feeding off SuJu's popularity and that everything is just a plan by SM entertainment to make their candy group famous. to hitch SuJu's popularity. there's also report that everything started off with tiffany's disrespectful comment to SuJu and disregarded them as SNSD's sunbae(senior), and to clear up, she just said that as she was brought up in US, she wasnt taught the "korean culture". but er, i was thinking, when was it even a korea culture to respect senior/older people around you? you mean US people can be disrespectful to seniors? i dont think so.

going back to the silent treatment, i think that compared to what the SOSHI fans did to the other FC, the silent treatment was nothing. really. what more, Suju apologised on behalf of their fans to SNSD's fans when the violence started, but yet, SNSD just encouraged them by thanking them for their support. hmmm, is either it never occur to SNSD that what their fans were doing were wrong or, they are just trying to keep their fan based, protect their fans in hope that their number of fans will grow?

anyway, i will leave the website that i read this post from, and if interested, go take a look.
